ACS was honoured to play a pivotal role in creating an outstanding congress environment for almost 5,000 participants from more than 120 countries at Euroanaesthesia 2026 in Rotterdam. Held from 6–8 June at the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre, the annual congress brought together leading professionals in anaesthesia, intensive care, pain management and perioperative medicine to exchange knowledge, explore the latest research and discuss developments shaping the future of the field.
Recognised by the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) as one of the most important and influential annual congresses in anaesthesiology and intensive care, Euroanaesthesia provides a truly international platform for learning, collaboration and innovation.

For an audience, a successful congress can appear effortless: presentations start on time, speakers are clearly heard, content is visible from every seat and transitions between sessions happen without interruption. Behind this seamless experience is a complex technical operation involving extensive planning, specialist AV equipment and a highly skilled team of AV technicians.
Working closely with Stand2Gether on the plenary room, the team ensured that the extensive AV infrastructure remained virtually invisible to the audience. What may look like a simple presentation on screen is, in reality, the result of precise technical preparation, reliable equipment and technicians working constantly behind the scenes to keep every session running smoothly.

The European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC) community came together to share knowledge, stimulate new ideas and celebrate scientific excellence in the fields of general anaesthesia, intensive care, pain management, emergency medicine, and perioperative medicine. The Euroanaesthesia congress offers education, knowledge exchange, and innovation during the 3-day congress.
At the heart of this operation were the ACS AV technicians, whose expertise ensured that the technology performed reliably throughout the congress. Before the event, technicians built and tested systems, checked signal paths, configured projection and display equipment. During the sessions, they continuously monitored audio and video and provided immediate technical support to speakers and moderators.
