Maintenance coordinator for the technical department

ACS audiovisual solutions is looking for a maintenance coordinator who can lead a small team of maintenance employees within our Technical Department. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of ACS’ Technical Department, you’ll have an overview of the inspections in accordance with NEN 3140 and you’ll organise the efficient operation of the available equipment and its maintenance. You will also advise and guide employees where the use of materials, resources and equipment is concerned.

ACS audiovisual solutions advises and facilitates clients both at home and abroad with the realisation of audiovisual solutions and complete hall constructions for the conference, exhibition and meeting market. ACS has a huge amount of expertise at its disposal in this field, as well as a wide range of the most modern video, light, image and sound equipment, right through to the resources required for constructing halls. ACS has an expert team of approximately 63 employees.

The tasks package:

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Technical Department;
Carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs to materials and resources; •
Assessment of material rejections;
Budget control;
Producing various reports for the Facilities Manager;
Issuing advice regarding the use of equipment;
Providing the Facilities Manager with advice regarding the purchase/replacement of equipment;
Management of fixed and mobile telephony

Profile:

You have been educated to MBO+/HBO (Intermediate/Higher Vocational Education) level;
You have excellent knowledge of audio, light, projection and video technology;
You have acquired work experience in the audiovisual industry;
You are flexible, enterprising and have a communicative and service-oriented attitude;
You are in possession of a driving license B;
You have a good command of the English and Dutch language;
An affinity with automation would be a plus;
Being in possession of VCA and NEN 3140 would be an advantage;
You live in the Amsterdam area.
