As ACS audiovisual solutions’ Floor Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining contact with the client regarding all technical aspects during the event. You will be both the client’s and your fellow AV technicians’ main point of contact on site. You will ensure the project is flawlessly executed.

ACS audiovisual solutions advises and facilitates clients both at home and abroad with the realisation of audiovisual and IT solutions and complete hall constructions for the (international) conference, exhibition and meeting market. ACS has a huge amount of expertise at its disposal in this field, as well as a wide range of the most modern video, light, image and sound equipment, right through to the resources required for constructing halls. ACS has an expert team of approximately 55 employees.

Job description:

As the Floor Manager you will be:

  • The main point of contact for the customer on site throughout the execution of the conference/event;
  • Responsible for preparing a construction and dismantling schedule;
  • Well prepared and organise quick, smooth and safe construction and dismantling on site;
  • Responsible for quality on site;
  • The person who manages and motivates AV Technicians on site;
  • The point of contact for employees on site and you’ll provide the correct instructions to allow for accurate execution of the work;
  • Involved with the construction and dismantling and connection of AV/IT equipment and subsequently operate this;
  • Responsible for handling the Occupational Health & Safety and HSE legislation and regulations.

And you’ll have the following profile:

  • MBO+ (Intermediate Vocational Education) level;
  • Living within the Randstad;
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and solution-oriented;
  • Knowledge of AV (essential) and IT;
  • No 9 – 5 mentality;
  • A sense of responsibility;
  • Leadership capabilities and experience;
  • Able to function at various levels, both internally and externally;
  • Meticulous;
  • Stress resistant;
  • A good command of both spoken and written Dutch and English;
  • Prepared for (multi-day) (European) travel. We can offer you a challenging position with a competitive salary and fringe benefits. ACS audiovisual solutions initially offers new employees a fixed-term contract.
