ACS is delighted to extend our relationship with ECTRIMS – with a multi-year contract as their preferred AV supplier.
ECTRIMS is the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis, and it’s annual congress is a meeting place for researchers, clinicians and healthcare providers for all to collaborate on the next life-changing research and treatment options for people with MS and related diseases.
ACS supplied all of the essential elements to create a highly effective congress, including; lighting, projection, cameras, and audio. We also worked closely with the inhouse AV department/crew to coordinate everything and used a combination of own equipment, as well as some inhouse equipment.
The challenge of this event was to create a Plenary room with a WoW factor!
This was achieved by using a combination of stage elements that spanned the entire width of the 80 metre room. We placed back lights and up lights, 3 horizontal screens, 2 vertical screens (for camera content), and two impressive globe light installations, which bookmarked the podium on both sides.
This 40th annual meeting attracted more than 8,500 delegates from all corners of the world. This year’s event featured an international range of speakers including keynote lectures and oral and poster presenters, together with expertly selected scientific and educational sessions, networking opportunities, and much more.
When a congress has a large number of attendees, it is always important that everyone can see and hear the speakers on the stage. For this, we place loudspeakers, and large projection screens to duplicate what is shown on the stage.

ACS was delighted to provide AV solutions throughout the IASP 2024 World Congress on Pain, including a 5-screen setup for the 4000 capacity plenary room, ACS’s Presentation Management System and supported Speaker Ready Room where speakers received technical assistance to upload, adjust and practice their presentations. All congress sessions were recorded for the client.
The biggest challenge for any large size congress is to ensure that all the correct presentations are shown on the right screen, at the right time – throughout the congress. ACS has perfected a system that allows speakers to upload their presentations prior to the congress, adjust them if necessary, during the event, and then to present them on time, at the right location. ACS successfully implemented their Presentation Management System in 16 session rooms, over the course of the 5-day congress. All session room presentations were recorded for the client.
The IASP 2024 World Congress on Pain, brought together more than 5,000 scientists, clinicians, and healthcare providers from around the world and across pain disciplines to meet at their annual event in RAI Amsterdam.
