The challenge

Last Tuesday, December 3, our national department has set a new record by, at the time of writing, running its biggest event ever! On behalf of an international investment company we were allowed to furnish the entire Gashouder in Amsterdam with AV. Among other things, we placed an LED screen of 100 square meters big (20m W x 5m H)! And that for “only” a one-day event!

The challenge

This time the biggest difference with previous years was the layout of the central square. Previously, ACS and organizer Reed had their own stand separate from each other. This year, both stands, together with an IBTM World Newsroom and SSC / Playback Lounge, formed a central island with unambiguous design. It was the first time we implemented the Playback Lounge, where visitors could watch missed sessions, and it turned out to be a great success. Finally, there was a large LED screen (30 m W x 1.5 m H) above the stand that served as signage to lure visitors on the exhibition floor to the Knowledge Village.

By working together with Visualitys, a company that has developed foldable cubes in different heights, the four spaces were seperated in a playful way with the help of these blocks. Therefore the theme this year was “Building Blocks for a GREAT event” that symbolizes the building blocks that ACS can use for a successful event. The same blocks were also found in the design of the gates and stage decoration of theaters 1,2 and 3.

As a gimmick at the ACS booth this year we provided a modest stage with a Virtual Reality demo. Visitors could experience the effect of certain choices in a temporary or permanent room. Things like lecterns and stage setup were easily adjusted with the click of a button.

The challenge

In Madrid, ACS was responsible for the building and furnishing of 6 temporary lecture rooms, the overflow areas and the e-poster area. In addition to that they built the business rooms, the patient village and the EADV Resource Center and provided furniture for exhibitors upon request. ACS also supplied the audio and visual facilities in all session rooms throughout the venue..

The challenge

In the Fira Barcelona Gran Via convention center, ACS built the largest plenary room of this year. Even with 6,500 seats, the space was still too small for all interested delegates. In the end we even had to overflow our overflow room.

During the 5 days that the congress lasted, more than 500 sessions took place. ACS facilitated the congress with the temporary rooms, audiovisual facilities and support.

The challenge

The photos show that our technicians have once again succeeded in turning a space full of exotic plants and animals into a business setting. They have placed a total of four 98-inch screens in the front of the room and in addition they have facilitated and operated the entire audio that day. With this, we have once again proven that ACS is the ideal partner to guide the client through the AV jungle full of technical concepts, abbreviations and jargon.

The challenge

The ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embrology) annual congress took place from 23 to 26 June in the Ferien-Messe Vienna; the city that is best known for its classical music. For that reason, the halls, for which ACS arranged the light, sound and video support, were named after world-famous Austrian composers. ACS was also responsible for decorating the Estensis area, which served as a digital poster space. The combination of curtain and voile gave the room a nice open appearance.

The challenge

The opening ceremony took place in a temporary room, built and turnkey delivered  by ACS, which offered space to 5,000 participants. Furthermore, ACS was also responsible for the other temporary rooms and for providing AV in both the temporary rooms and the fixed rooms, including the Elycium and Amtrium. Our brand Eventresult has facilitated IT services, such as the E-posters and the updated Presentation Management System, and offered support to speakers in the Speaker Service Center. New digital board tables were also used for the first time during the conference.

It were four intensive and successful days that we look back on with joy.

The challenge

On Monday, February 25, a press conference was held in the Hotel Arena Amsterdam. The day after a dealer day took place at NH Schiphol. ACS was present both days; day 1 we highlighted the new motorcycles and did the sound and presentation. Day 2 we decorated the entire room with visual frame, light, sound, presentation and large projection.

The challenge

ACS is very proud to have been sub-contracted by apple tree communications to provide the Presentation Management System for MWC19. During the four days of the conference programme we managed almost 135 presentations divided over 7 conference rooms, all to the great satisfactory of the customer.
