For the fifth consecutive year, ACS worked together with Midsetting Creative to facilitate the annual Team Week for a large corporate client. Each year this event has a new theme which needs to be conveyed through the look and feel. This year ACS provided the temporary rooms and integrated AV equipment and technical support for the opening.

ACS and Eventresult held its annual customer event in the Amsterdam office on the 21st of April. Instead of the “traditional” programme with a speaker followed by drinks, we presented a new format for the event, with a self-build experience in the ACS warehouse!

The challenge

The warehouse was transformed into a play paradise with four different areas, each stimulating the senses of the guests in alternative ways! The guests were separated into small groups and guided under the supervision of vivid hostesses through each area. There was a black light room containing a sea of balloons and a laser show, a mini-disco in the truck of our logistics partner, a barbers shop choir and a real waterfall. This creative approach provided a dazzling experience for guests and a refreshing way to network. Leaving a lasting impression!

Friday the 5th of June, the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel (1975) celebrated its 40th anniversary on very festive way in the new meeting spaces of the hotel. During the event, next to the particular history of the hotel, Marriott paid attention to her innovative future and the important role that Studio Piet Boon will play in it.

The challenge

The challenge of ACS was to engage the 150 guests with an audiovisual show with the ultimate image, light and sound mix. ACS also facilitated a larger-than-life impactful video wall and provided media updates with a Twitter feed.

Commissioned by MCI Amsterdam, one of the leading meeting- and event management companies in the Netherlands, ACS audiovisual solutions and Eventresult technically facilitated the yearly European Hematology Congress in Vienna.

The challenge

EHA reached the impressive number of 10.000 delegates this year. ACS took care of all AV facilities to provide the right atmosphere in terms of light, visual support and sound. ACS also constructed the plenairy room for 2500 pax with integrated AV facilities and decoration. Together with partner Mindsetting we produced a smashing opening ceremony with impressive content. IT partner Eventresult delivered smart IT congress solutions, such as digital signage and the presentation management solution, with this solution Eventresult managed all presentations during the congress, including pre-upload and onsite support.

As preferred partner of ESC, ACS facilitated this year’s ESC (European Society of Cardiology) congress in Excel London. Every year we take our partnership to the next level and develop a combined concept, in line with the wishes of ESC.

ESC took place from the 29th of August until the 2nd of September. ESC has surpassed their expected number of delegates this year with a total amount of 33.000 delegates!

The challenge

ACS facilitated a spectacular plenary room including all AV services, suited for 3.000pax. Together with our creative partner Livelab we delivered a fantastic opening ceremony. LiveLab created a creative concept for which ACS delivered all necessary hardware. In addition, we have built 21 break-out rooms, with a capacity from 200pax until 1000pax. In total all temporary rooms were filled with 11.000 chairs, 27.000 m2 of carpet and 4.750 meters of truss and curtains!

From Saturday 26 to Wednesday 30 September, the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Congress took place in RAI Amsterdam. This yearly congress revolves around the ERS mission to alleviate suffering from disease and drive standards for respiratory medicine globally.

The Challenge

This year’s edition hosted a record amount of 23.000 delegates. ACS facilitated ERS in accommodating all delegates and constructed 9 temporary rooms including integrated AV facilities and total set up, such as carpet, chairs etc. In addition, ACS also provided audio visual solutions for all rooms of the RAI conference centre.

During the conference, the Beursplein square in the centre of Amsterdam also hosted a public event focused on encouraging the citizens of Amsterdam to keep their lungs healthy. Free lung tests were offered along with exercise classes, spreading the importance of taking the active option for lung health. Working alongside the RAI Amsterdam and Amsterdam Marketing, ERS involved the city and its residents in the ERS Congress in a unique way. As a result, the ERS Congress became more visible and has a lasting impression on visitors and residents alike.

Thousands of Rwandans and friends of Rwanda from across Europe gathered for the 9th edition of Rwanda Day on the 3rd of October 2015.

The gathering served as a time to reconnect with Rwanda’s history, learn about the Rwanda of today and be an integral part of defining Rwanda’s future. Through an audio-visual exhibition showcasing Rwanda’s journey, participants had the opportunity to gain an in depth understanding of the steps that continue to shape the country.

The Challenge

ACS provided Rwanda day with the construction of a temporary room, suitable for 4500pax. In addition we facilitated all AV support, from panel discussions, general AV until high quality audio support. We were happy to contribute to a succesful Rwanda day 2015.

Over the years, ACS has made its mark in the hotel industry. We’ve worked with various high-end hotels such as the NH hotel chain, the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam and the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. Thanks to our extensive experience supplying AV solutions to the hotel sector, we have an excellent understanding of the do’s and don’ts in the industry and can adjust our services accordingly. We are also well acquainted with the code of conduct in the hotel business, and we guarantee that our staff members will always adhere to these rules.

As the preferred AV and IT partner of the IBTM world exhibition in Barcelona, IBTM 2015 was one of our best years ever. ACS provided a turn-key solution for hosting the exhibition’s entire educational programme on the show floor. Opposed to previous years, when attendees were forced to leave the exhibition hall and proceed to a remote congress center for educational sessions, this year everything was kept local.

NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, was once again host to the spectacular ‘Angels of Light’ gala last November.

This annual initiative of WereldOuders, the foundation behind it, enables them to offer structural aid to homeless children in Latin America. Adopted in to so called ‘family homes’, they are offered the love, care and education they so desperately need. Besides preparing the children for a better future, WereldOuders also contributes to the entire community and rolls out educational and medical projects.

WereldOuders aims to expand capacity of the family houses and offer an additional 300 children shelter in 2016 using ‘Angels of Light Gala 2015’ revenues. For children still roaming the streets, exposed to violence and extreme poverty, a necessity. Fortunately this edition WereldOuders raise the record amount of € 273,000,= !

Structural assistance to homeless children is an important charity ACS supports, for WereldOuders the second year in a row. Managing Director Jessica Ylstra: “We are happy to contribute to a gala with such a huge social responsibility. Children are the future and we must see that we all contribute to that cause. ”
